Bobbin Cottage, Peak District

Sitting on the edge of the Peak District, a stone’s throw from open fields, woodland and moors - sits a 19th Century cosy mill worker’s cottage just around the corner from Wasp Nest Cottage which can be booked in conjunction with this cottage for larger family stays. Two pubs and a shop are within easy walking distance and Chatsworth House is a beautiful 7 mile wander over the hill. The cottage is filled with products from local artisans. The space Sole use of the whole house and paved rear outdoor space. Upstairs the master bedroom comprises of double bed with village view across to the hills. The second room is a snug space with double bed and closet, the window views the green space behind the houses. A deep filled portable air bed is available to accommodate a 5th person if required or to provide more flexibility to the sleeping arrangements. A shower bathroom serves both these rooms. Through the front door, the sitting room can accommodate 4 people comfortably and there is a smart TV above the electric stove fire place. A hand made breakfast bar and coffee pine dresser are situated on one side of the kitchen, with full cooking appliances (oven, stove top and microwave) easily accessible in the cottage kitchen. A small garden patio area with table and chairs lets the morning in, and enables the outdoor environment to be enjoyed throughout the year.
