The space Whether you’re seeing family and friends or seeking a much needed coastal getaway, Greycroft guesthouse is situated in a great location to cater for all your needs. It is the perfect bolthole for one or two adults wishing to stay from two nights up to a week to do some sightseeing and explore places like Whitstable, famous for its oysters, working harbour and seafood restaurants; the classic seaside town of Herne Bay with its traditional arcades and ice-cream parlours; trendy Margate with its vintage shops and The Turner Contemporary Gallery; or the historical City of Canterbury with its stunning Cathedral and medieval cobbled streets. With a homely feel, the cosy guesthouse is fully furnished and equipped with all the essential items you need for a relaxing and comfortable self-catering holiday. It features a fully kitted kitchen, wooden flooring, an oak double bed, coastal theme decor, a 32-inch Smart TV, books and board games. It comes supplied with milk, tea, coffee, sugar, crisp clean bed linen, fresh towels, plentiful hangers, iron & ironing board, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash and hand cream. You’ll have access to a comfortable living space, sleeping, cooking and dining areas as well as a walk-in shower, all on one ground level. There is enough space for a couple with a baby if you can bring your own travel cot. We do not provide any infant equipment. There is free parking on the drive in front of the guesthouse. The bus stops right outside the house so no need to worry about parking costs in Whitstable or Canterbury. The bus will take you to Whitstable Harbour, Tankerton, Herne Bay or Canterbury. Download the Stagecoach bus app for bus times and tickets (£3 single fare). Close to Chestfield & Swalecliffe train station with a direct line to London Victoria, Rochester, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. 10-minutes walk to the beach. Guest access You will have access to free parking on the drive, your own entrance through a side gate and a fully furnished, self contained dwelling on ground level. Other things to note This is a family home and we must know who is staying with us so please give the names of both guests at the time of booking. No more than two guests are permitted to stay per booking; the only exception being a couple with a baby. Third party bookings are not accepted. Additional guests outside of the original booking group are not permitted to stay overnight without permission; doing so contravenes the home insurance and in breach of the house rules. Smoking/vaping in the guest house and on the grounds of the property is strictly prohibited.
