Gite in a Pyrenees village
Description
The gîte is located in Luc, a small village of 200 inhabitants, 15 minutes from Bagnères de Bigorre. Ideally located, a multitude of activities are available to you: hiking, skiing, climbing, tree climbing, via ferrata, tourism, nature, lakes, rest, thermal baths, casino, idleness, etc. It has been fully restored and refurbished during the summer of 2024. (Bedding, kitchen and appliances as well as linens are new). The space The accommodation is located in the extension of our house, which is an old renovated stone building dating from 1867. You will have your own access to the cottage. On the ground floor are the living room (living room, dining room and open kitchen) and the toilet. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms as well as the bathroom. One of the two bedrooms consists of a 160x200 double bed. The other bedroom consists of a 160x200 double bed and a 90x200 single bed. An umbrella bed can be provided (sheets not provided). The accommodation is located close to the main cities of the department: Tarbes 16 kilometers away, Lourdes 24 kilometers away and Bagnères de Bigorre 11 kilometers away. The nearest ski resorts are: - Mongie-Tourmalet: 37 kms - Hautacam: 50 kms - Luz-Ardiden - 52kms - Cauterets: 53kms - Peyragudes: 69 kms - Piau-Engaly: 83 kms. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire gite as described. You will have a parking space, where you can park your vehicle, right in front of the entrance. In the event of an additional vehicle, it will be necessary to park it either along the road or further away in the village. Other things to note The listing does not have an outdoor area (no terrace or private outdoor space). If you like animals, we have a large property with 2 dogs (1 Great Pyrenean and 1 Border Collie), 2 Maine Coon cats, 2 Ouessant sheep, 1 Pyrenean goat, 2 dwarf goats, and 4 chickens. You can come and see them and pet them (or try to do so depending on their mood ;-) ) but above all, only in our presence :-)
