Welcome to the brand new Shakespeare Cabin on the property of the historically designated first house in Shelburne, The Shakespeare House (1783). Located in Shelburne’s Historic Waterfront District with peek-a-boo views of one of the deepest bays in the world, the guest house is ideal for couples or individuals looking for a charming getaway in an historic town. You'll enjoy a balcony and beautifully appointed accommodation beneath the property’s massive trees. Reduced Winter prices in effect. The space The house has two floors. The first floor has a complete kitchen and bathroom with shower, plus a little dining area. There is a heat pump on this floor for heating and cooling. Plus there are four windows that open for ocean breezes. The second floor has a cathedral ceiling, bed area and small sitting area with a loveseat. There is a large new TV on a swing arm so you can watch it in bed if you choose. There is also access to a little deck, plus a small closet for your clothes. There are three windows that open on this floor. This is a standalone guest house on the property of the owner's house overlooking a park with peekaboo views of the harbour/bay in the historic district of Shelburne. Guest access I will email you through Airbnb your check-in details 24-hours before you are scheduled to arrive. * Check-in time is 1:00 to 5:00 PM, but it's fine if you arrive late and communicate this beforehand . Other things to note Clean quality bed linens are provided and will be on the bed when you arrive. Each side of the queen bed has two quality pillows (one Canadian down feather and one memory foam, fitted with anti-microbial inner covers) to suit each guests sleeping preference. An extra blanket is in the closet. There are clean thick bath towels provided and hand towels for the kitchen. Various community soaps in bottles are provided. There is a micro stereo to play your playlists and CDs are also provided. Battery operated candles are provided. Most of the lights are on dimmer switches to suit your mood. The kitchen is equipped for cooks and coffee lovers alike with every type of coffee device you could want (my personal fave is the Nespresso coffee maker and coffee).
