Here to welcome you! The space Featuring a spacious home office, this property was originally designed for travel nurses. It welcomes short-term guests and is also very well suited for long-term stays. This is a quiet and cozy 800 square foot one bedroom apartment. It is business travel ready and laptop friendly. It has a queen-sized bed and full tub with shower. We can provide an inflatable mattress; extra bedding is available upon request. A high-chair and portacot for children is also available upon request. Please let us know if you are travelling with children, and we will bring additional age-appropriate amenities into the space. Architects, designers, and professional landscapers have worked together to carefully curate Viewville Gardens to ensure that windows on the property provide both beauty and privacy. The angles of sight lines, along with natural screening provided by landscaping, mean that you can enjoy the beautiful garden views freely. Safe Haven is located off the main street, and just off on a private residential lane used by five quiet long-term residents and our AirBNB guests who travel to and from primarily by car. Safe Haven provides blackout blinds in the bedroom - and blinds for the kitchen, dining area, and living room windows, and on the entry door - to use, if you prefer. Very quiet long-term residents live in the home above. In my experience of the space, I have only rarely been aware of faint sound coming from the upstairs unit. Google maps situates the property as 4 min to St FX, 7 min to St. Martha's Regional Hospital, 16 min to Mahoney's Beach, 21 min to Arisaig Beach/Park, 24 min to Pomquet Beach/Park and 38 min to Cape Breton by car. We are located 1 hour 45 minutes from the Halifax international airport and 2 hours 7 minutes from the North Sydney Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal to Newfoundland. Guest access The full apartment is available for private guest use. Other things to note Safe Haven enjoys Netflix, Disney+ and a premium cable package on its 45 inch TV. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner by The Unscented Company are provided. Nellie's scent-free laundry soap is provided along with a starter pack of other household supplies. Home office materials are available in this business travel ready and laptop friendly unit. Games, books and puzzles are provided for indoor play. A pourover coffee maker, champagne glasses, wine carafe, yoga mat, beach chair, picnic backpack, puzzle mat, shower stool - and Scrabble and cribbage games! - are available upon request.
