DriftINN offers a relaxed coastal/country getaway for couples or small families just 20 minutes from the heart ofPenneshaw. DriftINN is an off grid stay. Access to Mouth Flat Beach with its own private nature playground for kids. The space DriftINN has been our space to disconnect from a busy contemporary world for over 2 decades and is the perfect example of coastal minimalism. Situated on 115 acres of Australian seaside bushland, DriftINN is a haven for immersing and connecting to nature, providing solace in its simplicity. Our humble abode is the perfect place to relax, re-set and then return to your busy lives with fuller cups. DriftINN has been a labour of love and patience. You will notice the drift wood that we have collected over the years from Mouth Flat beach that has been turned into the heart and soul of its character - hence the property's name! You can access Mouth Flat beach from our property, via a stunning cliff top walk and panoramic views of the ocean where you may see sea lions, sharks, dolphins, schools of salmon and even whales at certain times of the year. The beach provides the goods when it comes to fishing - salmon, Tommy Rough, Flat Head & Shark are the usual catch so bring a rod if fishing is your game. Searching for washed up Leafy Sea Dragon treasures and finding penguin homes in the cliff base are some of our favourite things to do at Mouth Flat. The wildlife is abundant at Mouth Flat - kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, possums, goannas and birdlife are some of the locals that share our space. DriftINN is 2 bedroom stay (a queen bed in each room and 1 single built in bunk). Dining, living, kitchen, bathroom are the other rooms that make up the indoors. Outside features include, lawned area, BBQ, outside shower/bath, deck, filleting station and designated camp fire area. Our accomodation has its own nature playground featuring the Taj of all cubby's, a balancing track, sandpit, slide, rock climbing wall and see-saw. Pets negotiable with prior discussion. Guest access You will access the property through a shared gate with our neighbours, where you will be required to open and close a locked gate. Keys will be in a lockbox on the gate post and codes will be sent out closer to the time of your arrival. Guests have access to the entire 115 acre property. Other things to note When booking to stay at DriftINN, you are accepting complete responsibility for the care and safety of yourself, and children. Be mindful and alert of your environment and wildlife at all times.
