The Little House

Welcome to this peaceful and centrally-located home in the heart of Baxley. We offer our guests a little quiet hide away with all the charm Baxley has to offer within walking distance to everything! When you stay with us you feel like family not just another rental. We strive to provide all our guests with the comforts of Southern Charm. Welcome Home! The space Nestled behind the “Big House,” one of Baxley's most prominent historic landmarks, is the “Little House.” The entire property is within walking distance to downtown. Guests have access to the beautiful grounds and patio areas. Originally a two-story barn, the “Little House” was renovated in the mid-50's with further updates in the early 2000's. Impeccably decorated, we want our guests to feel like our family and share in its history. We strive to offer all the basic amenities such as towels and linens, an equipped galley kitchen with microwave, coffee pots, utensils and cookware. Strong internet and Wi-Fi, a 55” Smart TV ready for you to sign in to your personal streaming services, central heat and air, a convenient parking pad close to the house and a large parking lot. The entire property is well lit for late-night coming and going. The house even offers a Sohmer console piano for those of you who might be musicians looking to get away --- but don't want to get too far away! (We were a family of musicians!) Check out the aerial view of the property for entrances from Main Street and Fair Street. Just two blocks away is a fabulous indoor aquatic center, for those of you who might enjoy the relaxation and exercise of a pool. It is open year-round and for $2 a day, you can't beat the price or location! Restaurants are all within walking distance. Check out the Chamber of Commerce website for details and other events Baxley has to offer. Unfortunately, we are not pet friendly as the entire house is carpeted. There is to be NO smoking inside the house. Smoking is allowed on the outside property and grounds. An additional $100 clean-up fee will be charged if there are remnants left behind. Please ask questions! We respond within minutes. This is a new adventure for us. We welcome any and all positive comments and suggestions about how your stay could have been better.
