Welcome to The Sunbird! Our newly-renovated second floor 1BD/1BR condo on the shore of Lake Erie is the perfect retreat! Enjoy the heated community pool, world-class birdwatching, and serenity of Oak Harbor. Located in the Green Cove condo community, adventure is not far away from places like Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Camp Perry, Davis Bessie, Magee Marsh, Jet Express, Waterworks Park, Port Clinton Lighthouse, African Safari Wildlife Park, Toledo Zoo, Cedar Point…and more! The space Relax at The Sunbird! PLEASE NOTE: This condo is in the second floor and is not handicap accessible. You will have to climb approximately 20 steps to get to the front door. The space This condo has been recently renovated to offer you all the style, comfort, and amenities to make your stay relaxing and fun. Our unit is located steps away from the heated community pool (open Memorial Day-Labor Day). The outdoor balcony overlooks the marsh and is perfect for watching sunsets or birds. Hence, The Sunbird. Toiletries: We offer shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We also have a hair dryer. All towels are provided. Sleep: Queen-sized Sealy Mattress, 500-thread count cotton sheets, and a Smart TV in the bedroom to lull you to sleep, which comfortably sleeps two adults. Our deluxe futon couch folds out into a full-sized bed which comfortably sleeps one adult or two small children. We provide soft jersey sheets and buttery-soft blankets for the couch. Entertainment: If a rainy day strikes, we have you covered! Our condo has a 52-inch TV in the living room. We also have loads of board games, books, and magazines. Comfort: We recently installed a window air conditioning unit, plus two large ceiling fans to accelerate the cool breeze off the lake and keep you comfy during your stay. During the chillier months, we have baseboard heating. Our fully-stocked kitchen comes with pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, bowls, cups, wine glasses, and everything you need to cook your meals. The unit has been tastefully updated and is decorated with original artwork created by the owner. Start your morning with a cup of coffee on our large patio, listening to the waves and watching the birds. You won't ever want to leave! Guest access You'll be able to access the entire condo including the patio. You will also have access to the heated pool, tennis court, pickleball court, basketball court, fish cleaning station, and community areas. Dock access available upon request. Other things to note: This is a 500sqft unit on the second floor. There are no baby gates or safety gates on the second story patio. This unit will comfortably host 3 adults (2 on the queen bed, one on the fold out couch) No smoking in the condo or on the patio. Evidence of smoking will result in a $300 cleaning fee. Guest access You have access to the entire condo, the patio and common areas like the pool, the dock, and pickleball courts. Other things to note This unit comfortably hosts 3 adults or a group of 4 with 2 small children. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the couch is a futon.
