Roulottes - Les lits de berger

Description

At the foot of a volcano, in an exceptional natural setting, on a transhumance and summer path, enjoy a stay in a trailer like the shepherds of yesteryear. In the past, the wooden beds of shepherds followed the herd keepers on the Mézenc pastures and allowed them to spend the night near the sheep. Immerse yourself in nature in a fully equipped and heated home made of natural materials. The opportunity to have a pastoral experience. The space The trailer has an isolated sleeping area (double bed) and a single bed, a kitchen/dining area and a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). The trailer is heated if needed. Trailer rental: End-of-stay cleaning included/Bed and bath linen NOT included in the base price Possibility to take paid options: - Bed linen / Bath linen / Breakfast / Donkey rental / Drinks / Donkey or horse overnight stay - Breakfasts: it will be delivered to you in the morning. - Hot packed lunch: This service is only offered to hikers passing through without the possibility of bringing food or going to a restaurant. Dog accepted: one per trailer. Presence of other dogs on site. Internet access: only with your 4G. Parking close to the trailer. Accessible garage for bicycles. Note to future occupants: the principle of an unusual accommodation remains to be as close as possible to nature so it is possible that the inhabitants of the hedges, meadows and mare are a little enterprising (insects) or noisy (frogs, birds) or that the climatic hazards (wind, thunderstorm, snow) create some shaking or whistling. Rest assured, nothing dangerous because our trailers are well settled and comfortable. Guest access Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out before 11 a.m. Any earlier check-in or later check-out must be agreed with us. Self check-in possible (key box). Other things to note Location The Massif du Mézenc, Montanha de Haute-Loire, is the experience of an accessible, living, human and deeply rooted mountain, which offers an exceptional natural setting to recharge your batteries, move and meet authenticity. Our proximity to the LES ESTABLES resort is an asset to allow you to experience outdoor activities and that of the city of LE PUY EN VELAY to allow you to discover an exceptional cultural heritage. Accommodation located on the GR40 route and other mountain biking, horseback riding or snowshoeing routes. Close to the GR430 St-François-Régis, the GR70 Chemin de Stevenson. Possible activities on site: walk with donkey and/or goats. In the surrounding area: fishing, swimming, climbing, mountain biking, electric scooter, educational farm, sled dogs, Lugik Park, four-season activity resort, etc. Discover: our villages of character, our markets and local products. The host, Didier After a few years working in an environmental education association, I embarked on a personal project of a welcome with unusual accommodation on the theme of pastoralism. Today, I want to discover this authentic terroir. In 2024, I opened the first trailers and then a gîte the following year. For the future, I would offer a welcome in shepherd's huts and rentals of donkeys or goats.
