Dating back to the late 18th century, this beautiful cottage in the historic harbour village of St Aubin has everything you need for a relaxing break. Wooden beams and exposed granite are complemented by vintage treasures from the local antiques market. A fully-equipped kitchen means you can cook up a storm if the many excellent village restaurants don’t tempt you out. You can also enjoy al fresco meals or a spot of sun worshipping on the split level terrace out the back, complete with gas BBQ. The space The house is nestled on a quiet street in the bustling harbour village of St Aubin. It was historically a shop, but converted to a house in the late 20th century and benefits from large open plan areas downstairs and relatively high ceilings for this type of period property. The kitchen is housed in an extension to the rear with a glass roof giving plenty of natural light. Cooking is on a fully electric rangemaster oven with induction hob. There is a dining table and chairs in the dining room, and a breakfast bar with stools in the kitchen, as well as an outside eating area with table and chairs and a Webber gas BBQ. On the first floor there is a large double bedroom, a family bathroom, and and another double room with a door leading out onto the sun terrace. On the top floor there is a smaller double (attic room). Other things to note Please note there is no parking at the house, as it’s on an old cobbled street, but there is plenty of parking available just a couple of minute’s walk away in the main village carpark. There is also some on-road parking nearby.
