Crowley Cabin
Crowley Cabin
Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on a 400+ac operating peanut farm, this little cabin can be a jumping off point to fish and boat in any of our 3 large lakes, go canoeing or kayaking, stroll around the farm, or just hang out on the porch and relax. Located just a few miles from Dothan, AL, you can find almost any amenity you can imagine. The space This is tiny living at its finest. This small cabin offers a full kitchen, full bathroom and an open floor plan with a futon that coverts into a queen size bed. There is a small bistro table to enjoy meals or enjoy meals outside on the porch over looking our 45 acre pond and acres of farm land. You are welcome to bring your canoe, kayak or paddle board and enjoy the pond. We have a boat landing where you can bring your own boat and fish using a trolling motor and catch bass, bream or catfish. There are no visible structures from our property and is located off the main road and nestled in nature. It’s pure tranquility with peace and quiet. Guest access There are walking trails around the ponds or you can stroll along the edge of the peanut and cotton fields. Other things to note The futon is difficult to convert with one person, so you may just want to leave it as a bed. If there are two people, it is much easier to convert and I will show you upon arrival. When it rains it can become muddy so I suggest rain boots. It can get cold during the winter months and we have outdoor heaters and a propane heater/table to keep you warm and cozy. We also put up clear tarps that are the exact measurements of the cabin to keep you warm and cozy during the winter months and your view of the beautiful scenery is not obstructed. This is nature at its best and alligators, coyotes, foxes, deer, bald eagles, rabbits, raccoons, armadillos, snakes, squirrels, rats, mosquitos, and a variety of insects and spiders can be seen or found on the property, so be aware. We hope you enjoy your stay!
