Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Come and stay with us in our bespoke caravan, in its tranquil and secluded location it’s a perfect place to unwind. Situated in the lovely Sussex countryside with direct access to the river Adur makes it perfect for and paddle boarders, fishermen or canoeists, equally it’s a very safe space so suitable for families. Feel free to picnic or just sit by the river anytime during your stay. The space Our lovely little caravan is perfect place to stay, suitable for single occupancy, couples and families. There is a separate bedroom, with a toilet/shower and vanity area. A kitchen area, with a separate worktop area, then the seating, which has a pull out table and can be made into a double bed. There is a large outside deck area with fairy lights, which is very sheltered, has a table, chairs and bench. There is a small lawned area, which is a wonderful suntrap, there are two sunloungers and all of this is completely enclosed meaning its completely safe for families. We have direct access to the river Adur, this makes a wonderful place to sit and have a picnic, with a table and chairs already situated. Please note it is deep water so small children should not be left unattended New for 2025 A separate bedroom/studio room situated approximately 4 metres from the caravan, this is fully insulated room, so useful when the weather is rubbish or chilly, ideal for larger parties. The room has a double bed, sofa and a trunk/coffee table. This space won’t be let separately to guests who aren’t staying in the caravan, so you will still have your privacy, so if you want to book this space you will be able to use the facilities within the caravan or there is a separate WC that can be used in the main house. Please indicate when booking if you would like to book this room as well, as there is an extra charge of £35 for it. Guest access Guests have a totally self contained area and as aforementioned can use the riverbank. Other things to note We are approximately 10 miles from Brighton and 8 miles from Horsham, both of which you can access on the no17 bus, which stops virtually outside our house, running hourly through out the day and evening. We are ideally situated for those of you who enjoy walking ( you can bring your furry friend to stay for an extra £10 per night). We have 10 pubs within a 3 mile radius, so depending on how energetic you are feeling there is considerable choice, the closest being about a 10 min walk just across the river. We have easy access to the Downslink (an old railway line running from Guildford to Shoreham) this has a number of cafes and pubs en route. We are a family of animal lovers, we have 4 dogs, Lulu a black patterdale terrier cross..... can be a a bit gobby!! Leila a beagle.... please keep the gate shut as your food wont be safe!!! Pablo a rescue from Portugal, very ill treated previously but making great progress with us now and finally Arthur, beautiful inside and out and a soppy dope!! We also have 7 chickens, who you will definitely meet, as they wander around the whole garden and are very friendly and given half the chance they will come in and say hello. We have 4 ponies, who you will meet (if you wish!!) as the field next to the river bank. Ben and Sam are 19 year old Welsh ponies, then there is Dylan a 9 year Connemara, finally there is Matt’s who is the 8 year old palomino and white cob, all very friendly. Also for the braver guests my daughter Imy has numerous snakes, geckos, tarantulas and scorpions 😱!!!!
