At the pueblo, you will find the Plaza de Los Caballeros, with restaurants, and boutique shops. Pueblo Careyes also has a free gym and private clinic open 24/7 at walking distance from the house. Careyes is the perfect place to rest and disconnect from the world. Get out of the routine and enjoy a stay without noise by being close to nature. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PUEBLO CAREYES Casa Mon Repos is located in Pueblo Careyes, a small and peaceful community where homes are situated relatively close to one another. One of the area’s characteristics is its quiet, relaxed atmosphere, which means that everyday sounds may sometimes carry more easily, such as birds, pets, or occasionally people from nearby homes. We like to share this information in advance so our guests know what to expect and can fully enjoy the experience of staying in Pueblo Careyes. NATURE IN COSTA CAREYES 🌿 One of the things that makes Careyes so special is its beautiful natural surroundings and tropical vegetation. Casa Mon Repos is equipped with window and door screens for added comfort; however, as we are located in a tropical area, it is completely normal to encounter insects outdoors. We recommend keeping doors and screens closed, especially around sunset and during the rainy season, to help prevent mosquitoes and other small insects from entering the house. Between June and November, particularly after rainfall, there may temporarily be an increased presence of insects native to the region. For your convenience, insect spray is also available at the house. Staying in Careyes means enjoying a close connection with nature, and we kindly ask guests to keep this in mind when booking. WEATHER IN COSTA CAREYES 🌧️🌴 The tropical climate is part of the coastal experience. During the rainy season, storms may occur and can occasionally cause temporary power or internet outages in the area. Should this happen during your stay, we will be available to assist you and keep you informed while service is restored. We recommend checking the weather forecast for your travel dates before booking, particularly if you are visiting during the rainy season. Weather conditions can change quickly and are outside the control of Casa Mon Repos. Rainfall typically occurs between June and November, with periods of heavier rain toward the end of the season. Due to the tropical nature of the region, the frequency and intensity of rainfall may vary from year to year. Weather conditions, including rain or storms during your stay, do not alter the cancellation policies applicable to your reservation. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Stays of 6 nights or more Include one weekly cleaning, as well as regular pool and garden maintenance. Stays of less than 6 nights Additional cleaning service is available upon request with at least 24 hours’ notice. Additional cleaning: $500 MXN per service. If you would like to schedule an additional cleaning during your stay, you may request it before your arrival or at any time during your stay. HOUSE RULES * No pets allowed. * No parties or events. * No loud music. * Please keep noise to a minimum after 11:00 p.m. * Unauthorized additional guest: $50 USD per night. * Unauthorized pet: $50 USD per night. * Additional cleaning service during your stay: $28 USD. * Late check-out is available upon request only and is subject to availability. We will be happy to accommodate it whenever possible. * Unauthorized late check-out (after 11:30 a.m.): $50 USD. * Cancellations on the day of check-in or early departures are non-refundable.
