Your Home away from Home

Nestled in a local and calm area of Bangkok, yet close enough to the bustling city center, malls, Chinatown, markets, and more, our home is truly your home away from home. Experience how real locals live instead of being just another tourist in this city of angles. Our place is less than 5 mins walk to Bang Phai Metro Station. From which, it only takes 10 mins to reach the city center. Or you can hang out around our place cafe-hopping along the old canal and enjoy what Bangkok has to offer. The space The house has two floors with two bedrooms on the second floor and one bathroom on the first floor. Guest access You have access to the whole house except for our storage room upstairs which is always locked. Other things to note This place NOT for you if you expect a hotel-service apartment or all the comforts that you find at hotels. My intention is to offer an authentic experience where you can live like a local at an affordable price! For that, I decide not to have an A/C. This is for both health and environmental reasons. But there's a constant natural breeze that you will feel if you open the windows /doors and lift the curtains. Besides, there's a fan and a cooling fan (a fan that expels water mist)) in your room. If you aren't sure how people can live without A/C, here are some tips. 1) Make sure the windows/doors/curtains are open so nothing is blocking the airflow. 2) Use a water sprayer or sprinkle some water on your body and inside the room. (My dad taught me this trick since when I was young.) 3) Use the fan and cooling fan to blow a bucket of cold water facing you. Apart from that, we also don't offer a washing machine. ( though you can still hand wash and hand it to dry at our clothes drying rack) But there's a dry cleaning and laundromat around the MRT station which is 3 mins walk away.
