The Runway

The Runway is a delightful detached Cottage, that has been recently renovated to a high standard. It is a well equipped Cottage with 3 double bedrooms ,Perfectly located for family holidays, couples and business guests. With good access to the M4. Central for days out to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds and located with in the Village of MOD Lyneham. The space The Runway is a 1800's Cottage that has recently undergone a full renovation. The original 1800’s staircase was restored. It is steep and has a full length banister handle . It has a cosy feeling with the recent installation of the Log Burner in the dining room/quiet reading room and and the oil fired central heating in each room. Security lighting is available in all outside areas of The Runway. The rear garden benefits' from a covered area outside of the lounge patio doors, with ample seating. Guest are permitted to smoke or vape in this area. The rear garden is fully enclosed with a secure gate. There are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 benefits from a Super king Bed Bedroom 2 benefits from a Double bed Bedroom 3 is a day bed which consists of 2 singe beds. 1 bed slides under the other. In the dining area there is a bureau and a fold down section that can accommodate a laptop working station. There is one bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. Downstairs is a WC To the front of the property is a large driveway for guests to park their vehicle's. Guest access The Runways is a detached Cottage for the sole use of the booked guests, Other things to note Only guests listed on the booking are allowed to stay at the property, No other guests are allowed due to security. Maximum of 6 in the booking party. Children are very welcome and we have a travel cot, high chair , baby bath and some toys on site. Hosts live with-in walking distance of The Runway and can respond to queries promptly. There is a Information folder in the property that details information about the property ,including information about the local community.
