Our 15-hectare off-grid property in Bahía de Concepción is a serene desert landscape perfect for meditation, yoga, art, or simply resting under the stars. Here, you can: • Sleep beneath one of the darkest skies in the world ✨ • Watch dolphins, rays, turtles, and (in season) whale sharks in the bay 🐋 • Wander through desert trails and quiet beaches 🌵 This is a place for peace, creativity, and natural beauty — a slower rhythm of life where no pasa nada truly means no worries. If you prefer nightlife, room service, or the buzz of city life, Bahía Concepción might not be your match — but if you crave stillness, stars, and simplicity, you’ll love it here. ⸻ 🌞 What’s Included • Plush memory foam mattresses with fresh linens • Extra towels, blankets, and pillows upon request • Local organic soap • Purified drinking water • Coffee, tea, sugar, honey, and basic cooking spices • Pots, pans, and a French press (toaster or blender available upon request) • Bell tents include a Jackery power bank for charging small devices (no direct electricity) ⸻ ⚡ About Our Property We’re proudly 100% off-grid, powered entirely by solar energy and our own well water. We ask guests to help us protect these precious resources by: • Only plugging in small devices (phones, cameras, drones, laptops). • Using the provided fans and lights mindfully — they’re part of our solar system. • Keeping showers short and water usage light. We currently offer 4 unique accommodations — book one, several, or the entire property for a private group experience! 🌐 Starlink WiFi is available — perfect for remote work in the middle of the Baja desert. 🚿 Two shared bathrooms (one private, one locker-room style) with hot water and a 9-layer filtration system — guests often say we have the best showers in Baja! 🍳 A fully equipped shared kitchen with a propane stove, charcoal grill, fridge (shared), and a cooler for each room. 🌵 Multiple outdoor lounge areas for privacy and relaxation. 🐾 Friendly resident animals — one dog and 6 cats who help keep the ecosystem balanced. 🔥 Cornhole, fire pits, and hiking right on the property. 🏖️ Complimentary beach gear: towels, snorkel sets, toys, and coolers — just ask! We’re just a 10–15 minute walk (900m) to Playa El Coyote and 1.2 km to Playa El Burro, with countless other beaches only minutes away. The charming town of Mulegé (Moo-le-hay) is 20 minutes north — full of history, local shops, and fantastic restaurants. We highly recommend spending a day there! ⸻ 💬 Frequently Asked Questions Q: Can we book the entire property for a group stay? A: Absolutely! We love hosting groups and families. Send us a message to plan your stay. Q: Can we make a same-day booking? A: If available, yes! It depends on our cleaning schedule, but message us — we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Q: Why no children? A: We adore kids, but for safety reasons, we’re adults-only (18+). Our desert environment isn’t ideal for children. Please don’t try to sneak them in — this is our home, and you will be charged. Q: What’s the nearest airport? A: Loreto International Airport — about 90 minutes south. You can rent a car there and drive the scenic route. We recommend stopping for groceries along the way if you’re staying a while. Q: Do you have hot showers? A: Yes! We have three — all with hot water and amazing pressure! Q: Can I collaborate or do content creation here? A: We love creative collaborations! We don’t offer free stays, but we do trade for quality photo/video work. Message us for details. Q: Can I bring my dog? A: Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome for a 400 peso pet fee. Please keep them leashed, off the beds/furniture, and clean up after them. Q: Can I host a retreat? A: Definitely! We love hosting retreats. Guest access Guests have full private access to the Big Papa Airstream and its surrounding outdoor area. You’ll be nestled in our peaceful desert property — part of the Baja Glamping retreat — where you can relax, stargaze, and truly disconnect. During your stay, you’ll have access to: • A private outdoor seating area for morning coffee or sunset views 🌅 • Shared bathroom facilities (clean, well-maintained, and close by) • A community outdoor kitchen area equipped for simple meal prep • Solar-powered lighting and amenities designed for sustainable living • Free parking on-site • Free Paddleboard and snorkel gear We’re located in the heart of Bahía de Concepción, surrounded by desert landscapes and ocean breezes. The area is off-grid, meaning no Wi-Fi or air conditioning — but plenty of stars, stillness, and Baja beauty. 🌙 We live nearby and are always happy to help with anything you need — from local tips to arranging snorkeling, hiking, or whale-watching adventures. 🐋 Other things to note Please note: the bathroom, sink, and stovetop are non-functional, keeping the Airstream authentic to its vintage roots. Shared facilities and outdoor amenities nearby make your stay comfortable while staying true to the off-grid experience. We are an ADULT ONLY campground, 18+. Your room is completely private but please be aware that the rest of the property is shared with other guests and the hosts, including bathrooms and kitchen. We have a strict quiet time from 10 pm - 7 am please be courteous of other guests. Please note that we live in the Bahia Concepcion so YES there will be noise out of our control such as neighbors music, and truck noise from the highway. We are off grid and there are times we may run out of water or have issues regarding plumbing, electrical etc we will always get these issues resolved as fast as possible We can not control the weather and we run completely off of solar power so on cloudy days we will be running the generator.
