We are pleased to welcome visitors to our 1 bedroom self-catering studio apartment, sleeping 4 adults, situated on the side of the Downs in the Southdown National Park overlooking Findon Village. (73 SqM / 785 SqFt living space). Views and easy access to Cissbury Ring, the second largest Neolithic flint and iron age hill fort in the UK, Chanctonbury Ring, a prehistoric hill fort, and the Downs gallops of Gifford’s Racing Stables. The space A modernised 1 bed detached studio apartment set in 7 acres of pastureland. Studio includes a luxury shower room with WHB and WC with a separate WC outside. There is also a double bed/settee in the sitting room area. Fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Patio and lawn. Private off road car parking for 4 vehicles. TV and 30Mbps WIFI. We also operate Findon Free Range Eggs t/a Nanny Sue's Best Eggs, a small farm producing free range hen/duck eggs and honey for resale at the farm gate. We also have an onsite fresh cut flower business, Chalk Farm Flowers, run by Dan and Molly. Ramp access for wheelchairs into the studio and into garden patio area at the rear, with easy wheelchair access to the nearby swimming pool and changing room. Our family swimming pool is available for guest use free of charge complete with changing rooms, wc, shower, fridge and kettle subject to pool use rules and a signed Waiver of Liability for all in the Guest's party. However we are unable to offer exclusivity nor are we able to predict who or when other guests and family will be using the pool. Studio guest patio and lawn are to the rear of the studio to the fence line. For a small village of only a 1000 households Findon is very well served for eating and drinking out. (Nearest 5 mins walking) to furthest (15mins) - Black Horse Pub, Findon Manor Hotel and Snooty Fox bar restaurant, The Gun Inn, Sylvan Oak Fine Dining, The Village House Inn and The Tajdar Indian Restaurant and take away, along with Peckhams the family butchers and The Findon Village Community Store and Post Office owned by a village collective, and two Hairdressers/Beauty Salons opposite the Black Horse. A mile or so south in Findon Valley is a Marks & Spencers franchise in the BP Service Station (with electric charging), Tesco Express, Fish & Chip Shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways, Dry Cleaners, Barbers, Lime Tree Surgery, and several Dentists. Other things to note Sadly DEFRA regulations means the poultry areas are off limits to help stop the spread of Avian Flu. We have to use dedicated footwear and clothing when entering hen areas. Shame because kids love a wander in the hen runs. Our private family pool is offered free of charge for all guests to use however we are unable to offer exclusivity nor are we able to predict who or when other guests and family will be sharing the pool.
