Cozy guesthouse in timber built in 2023. The house is located in a peaceful area near Prestfoss city center, with land on 3 sides. On the property there is a residential house and a large garden. It is designed for 4 people and has a nice living room with large windows, two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. In addition, there are two additional bedrooms on the loft, with a total sleeping space for eight people. Proximity to forest, lake and ski trails. The space The guest house is located in a courtyard where you will also find the owners' residential house (the white house in some of the pictures), a barn and a woodshed. There is a large kitchen garden and a lawn on the property. The parking lot is right next to the guest house and has good capacity. Other things to note The house is heated with underfloor heating in the hallway and in the bathroom, and in the living room there is a masonry stove that keeps the heat well. There are also two removable oil stoves for use if needed. In summer you have access to a small terrace overlooking the kitchen garden, as well as a private garden spot. The property is centrally located, with walking distance to Prestfoss city center and facilities such as shop, café and gas station. In summer there is a short distance to several sandy beaches and good swimming and fishing opportunities. There are also great hiking opportunities right from the house, as well as nice bike paths. In autumn, there are plenty of berries and mushrooms, and there is a rough kitchen in the basement for those who want to make pickles on site. It takes about 30 minutes to drive to "Høyt & Lavt" in Modum, and Sigdal Aktiv offers exciting activities in the local area. Sigdal municipality has a rich cultural offer including the Kittelsen Museum and the Skredsvig Museum. The Blue Dye Works in Modum is about 25 minutes away. In winter, the ski slopes are right by the house, and in good conditions, up to about 20 km of slopes are prepared on the land and in the woods. Norefjell ski resort is 45 minutes away, and Haglebu ski resort about an hour away.
