The space The living room hosts a large seating area for family and friends with a 55" television for entertaining. Enjoy a multitude of upgrades with a bonus room in the basement for entertaining the kids with another 55" television for gameplay and a formal dining room table for board games. The basement even has a fully installed walk-in shower and double sink. A newly installed washer and dryer is conveniently located in the basement and available to guests. The main floor has two fully furnished bedrooms with enough closet space for long-term stays. You'll find the bathroom completely renovated with a shower and tub, double sinks, and storage galore. The kitchen has all new appliances and a large picture window as the backyard comes to life with cardinals, blue jays, squirrels, and hummingbirds. And easily viewed while eating at the kitchen table. Just off of the kitchen is a cozy den and workspace with a 55" television and working radio that will entertain guests of all ages. When you head down to the basement you will find additional space for entertaining with a full dining table, seating for 6 or more with vintage furniture, another 55" television, a full bathroom, and a walk-in shower. Guest access Guests will receive an automated text message upon making their reservation. Additional messages will be sent a week prior, the day of arrival and the day of departure with instructions about their reservation as well. Other things to note There is a dedicated office/room for remote work and a twin-size sofa and blow-up mattress. The University of St. Francis is 4 min away (0.8 mile), the St Joseph Hospital is 6 min away (1.7 mile), and Jewel (grocery store) is 3 min away (0.8 mile). Chicago is 40 miles away, you can visit the city by car or take the train. The first aid kit is located in the second drawer next to the light switch in the bathroom. While there is a garage, it's currently unavailable for parking. Please park on the driveway.
