Charming little Creusois cottage

A small cozy cottage where it's good to settle down after a long walk in the forest or after going around the mill pond. The house consists of a spacious dining room with kitchenette, a living room with solid parquet and stone wall on the first floor. As well as a shower room and separate toilet. On the second level, a huge bedroom with an office space (possibility to add a child's bed as well as a baby bed) The space The room is very spacious and we can easily add a single bed and/or a travel cot. We provide a baby bath and high chair on request, as well as games and books for small children. A large swing and slide are also available. The cottage is on the same grounds as our house, but part of the garden is reserved for you, not overlooked by our house. A BBQ and garden furniture are at your disposal. Guest access The gîte is less than 500 m from a beautiful fishing pond with a landscaped course (suitable for strollers), bench and picnic table. Lots of hiking trails from Donzeil. There is also a ping pong table and a communal tennis court nearby. In terms of convenience, a participatory grocery store and a bar are open on Tuesday and Friday afternoon. A farmers' market every Tuesday afternoon takes place in front of the house. There is also a supermarket and all the useful shops in Ahun 10 km away. On the tourism side, you will be ideally placed to visit one of the most beautiful villages in France, the Moutier d'Ahun and its abbey as well as its Romanesque bridge 11 km away, or the unusual village of Masgot and its stone sculptures (7 km), the famous city of Aubusson and its tapestry museum less than 20 km away. Lake Vissiviere with its many beaches and water activities is about 30 kilometers away. The area is full of superb markets such as Felletin at the entrance to the plateau of a thousand cows. The Taurion River is also a good spot to cool off and have a picnic. For children there are also plenty of activities such as the animal parks of the wolves of Chabriere above Guéret, walks with donkeys or sled dogs. Other things to note And if the weather is not good, the gîte is equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, board games and a well-stocked library.
