Located in stunning historic mansion (location of film "Christmas at Pemberley Manor" 2018). Sorry - no pets, it will not work with our own pets. Guests must be 21 plus. Suite has California King bed with private bath. Kitchenette with small refrigerator, single cup and drip coffee maker, dishwasher, and toaster (NO STOVE or OVEN). Private entrance. Delightful view of yard and gardens. Entirely separate from the rest of the home where family and pets are in residence as well as another 3 bedroom B&B unit and second floor king bedroom w/fireplace. Guests have exclusive use of porch at their private entrance. Guests cannot access the main home. Guests may use the fire pit on the property. Parking available on property for one car only. Family with older children, dogs, cats and a flock of chickens that free range on the property. Happy to guide you in exploring our beautiful seaside community and share the history of Old Lyme. Dogs will be unrestrained on the property so please do not book if you are afraid of dogs. Historic district of charming Old Lyme - home to the Florence Griswold museum, many fine art galleries, and the scenic Lieutenant River. Short drive or bike ride to beach. Hiking trails on vast amounts of open space in Old Lyme - some accessible within walking distance. A short ride (Uber available) from the Amtrak station in Old Saybrook (3.5 miles, about 7 minutes). Very easy access to/from I95. Next to historic church - church bell rings on the hour (every hour). Absolutely NO SMOKING in the home or on the property - including the private porch. Parking on property for ONE car only. Additional safe parking is available on street. Please do not book if you are afraid of dogs.
