Here, the rhythm of the ocean and the sounds of local wildlife become your soundtrack, while the warm, open spaces provide a refreshing escape from the bustle of everyday life. Peaceful, Rural Charm Located in a peaceful rural fishing village, you’ll be greeted by the serene sounds of nature. The village’s early risers – the local fishermen – head out to sea at dawn, and you may hear their voices in the distance, along with the sounds of neighboring families, playful children, and the occasional farm animal such as chickens, cows, and dogs. These gentle, authentic noises only add to the charm and character of the area. Connecting with the Sea Step outside the villa, and you’ll find yourself just moments away from the beach, where you can enjoy long walks along the white sands or simply sit and watch the waves roll in. For those seeking exploration, Boracay’s world-renowned beach is only 41.8 km (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes) away, while the pristine shores of Buruanga are just 25.3 km (42 minutes by car) from the villa. Whether you're looking to visit local natural wonders like the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park (4.7 km) or soak in the healing waters of Malumpati Health Spring (27.7 km), you’ll find a range of adventures close by. Living with Nature True to its eco-friendly design, the villa blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. As such, open spaces and natural elements are part of the experience – which means the occasional encounter with insects, mosquitoes, and wildlife. We recommend bringing insect repellent if you’re not used to it, and we ensure that you feel at home in this peaceful, rustic setting. Please note: The villa is in a rural village, and while the environment is peaceful, you may hear sounds typical of village life, such as fishermen, local children, and animals. This, however, only enhances the authentic, nature-filled experience. Simple Comforts in Harmony with Nature The villa’s bathroom features a refreshing open-air shower (please note, there is no heater). For a hot shower, you are welcome to heat water on the stove. As part of our eco-conscious design, we PROHIBIT any items that may pose a fire hazard, such as extension cords or lights. Please contact us for more info if you are not sure with what you are bringing. We do provide extension cords for your convenience if needed. We currently don't have a generator and if there’s typhoon, expect times of black out or no electricity. Local Convenience While the area is remote, it offers a peaceful retreat from the usual distractions. The town's local market (2.8 km away) offers limited food options, but for a wider selection, there is a 7/11 store a short 10-minute drive away. We suggest you bring your own and cook your own food as the market and nearby restaurants close early. Transportation in the area is limited, but we offer scooter and motorbike rentals to make your stay more comfortable. Tricycles and buses pass through, though they are not frequent.
