The Old Garage

Come and stay in our cosy garage, a stones throw from our 18th century thatched cottage and recently renovated to a high standard. The open plan studio is ideal for two adults but can also accommodate two children on a small double sofa bed. Dogs are welcome. We have a small secure outside courtyard for your own private use. Located in Stourpaine with stunning walks on the doorstep, a great pub in the village (also within walking distance) and easy access to the Jurassic coast. The space Our open plan studio sleeps four with one double bed and one large sofa bed. Ensuite shower room, with toilet and sink. Small kitchen area with toaster, kettle, full size fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. 42" smart TV, wifi and internet connections. Dogs can be allowed with prior agreement for an extra £10 per dog (maximum 2 dogs). There is a small, secure outside area. We also have two friendly dogs, Lulu and Dave. Hod and Hambledon Hill and The North Dorset Trailway are right on our doorstep giving excellent opportunities for walking and cycling. Maps and routes can be provided. Our friendly local pub, The White Horse serves excellent food and a wide selection of drinks and local ales. There is often live music with various events being held throughout the year including their famous 'steam up' , America Day and brass bands playing throughout the summer. Guest access The studio is yours alone with a small, secure courtyard garden for your private use. Other things to note Stourpaine is a great base for exploring. Blandford Forum, a noted Georgian town is only two miles from Stourpaine and can be accessed along the North Dorset Trailway on foot or bike. There are various supermarkets and shops within easy access.
