Other things to note At Grindavík Guesthouse, we want your stay to be more than just a place to sleep. The owner also creates handmade Icelandic wool sweaters, which are available to purchase at the guesthouse. Each sweater is unique and made with traditional Icelandic wool. During summer 2026, we're excited to introduce Grindavík Bike Rental, where you'll be able to rent bicycles and electric scooters to explore Grindavík and the surrounding area. Later in the summer, we'll also open Borg Studio & Café, a cozy café where locals and travelers can enjoy great coffee, homemade treats, and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests will also have the opportunity to join creative workshops inspired by Icelandic design, knitting, and local craftsmanship.
