The master bedroom has a new plush top mattress of the highest quality. You will have use of the first and second floor, but not the basement. Plenty of parking in driveway or street. Having your own vehicle is best as my home is located in the suburbs and not walking distance to metro. Using Uber or Lyft is a great option too. Tons of local attractions nearby to see! 2 minutes to restaurants, pastry and coffee shop, shopping and gas station. Full gourmet kitchen, deck, comfortable home with your attentive host close by if you need anything. Arlo security camera has been installed at the entrance to allow for contactless greeting and check in, as well as audio that allows two way interaction. Additional camera above the garage door viewing driveway, and on the back deck. Additional house rules to keep in mind-No smoking or vaping of any substance, no parties, no drugs or illegal substances, no using home for filming any type of production, no otherwise illegal activities. No RV vehicles or motorcycles. Max of 4 vehicles in driveway. Please remember that this is a neighborhood where families have children and anything above normal noise in daily activities would be disruptive so please refrain from excessive noise. Do not remove anything from the walls. Please make sure all furniture is in the original placement when you depart. You should know that this is my home that I live in when it is not rented and I keep my personal belongings here, so it is not a commercial property nor does it look like one. Please treat our home with care and respect and leave it in the condition that it was when you arrived. My home does have many stairs and is not suitable for those with mobility issues. I also have a cat that lives on the deck outside so you must also be willing to feed our Kitty during your stay. If you need access before 3pm just let me know in your message and we can work something out. Shops and restaurants are close by as well as grocery stores. This is a three story home and guests must be able to use stairs. I also keep my things here as I live here and there is closet space available but not drawer space. I am available any time via cell phone and am close by if you need anything. I may be staying in the basement during your stay. There is a separate entrance to the basement, and we will both have privacy. Arlo security camera above front door entrance has 2 way communication and allows for contactless greeting and enhanced security. Additional camera above garage door viewing driveway, and another with view of deck. There are no cameras inside the house. Family neighborhood nestled in the suburbs but minutes to tons of attractions, metro, restaurants and shopping. Located on one of the orginal farms belonging to George Washington, this property used to be part of the estate and Mount Vernon is minutes away. Close to Ft Belvoir, Pentagon, DC, as well as Navy Yard & Andrews Air Base. Your vehicle, metro, Uber or Lyft are perfect ways to get around here! Metro lines are a close 8 minute drive away. Huntington metro is the yellow line, and King Street is the blue line. You can park at either location and metro to downtown DC. Please see the WMATA website for more information. My driveway can accommodate up to four cars and there is street parking in front of my house as well. Arlo security camera is installed at the front door. Outside kitty lives on deck but is shy. We appreciate you feeding her while you are here. Deck has furniture that seats 5 with cushions a gas grill and an umbrella, area rug and lovely blooming plants in containers. I do live in this home with my children, and we keep our things here. There is closet space available in the upstairs bedrooms only. You will have the entire first and second floor for your use, but not the basement which will be locked. I may be using the basement space during your stay unless I am on travel, but it is entirely separate.
