The La Chênaie gîte is an outbuilding of the 19th century family home, located in the heart of the Lauragais, between Toulouse and the medieval city of Carcassonne. The estate, and its beautiful indoor pool, as well as its 2500 m² landscaped park, nestled in the middle of wheat and sunflower fields, offer a haven of tranquility conducive to relaxation. Let yourself be lulled by the sounds of nature in this unique home. The space This Lauragaise farmhouse has managed to retain the charm of the old while having been completely renovated in recent years. With a total area of 140 m², it consists of a beautiful warm living room, a large kitchen opening onto the shaded terrace and 2 beautiful bedrooms, each with spacious beds. Its capacity of 4 people makes it the ideal place for a vacation with family or friends. The vacation rental has shared access with the hosts in a secure hamlet of properties. The ground floor consists of two beautiful living rooms including a fully equipped kitchen of 30 m² with a dining room overlooking a living room area on one side and a warm terrace of 20 m² on the other. It also has a master bedroom. This elegant and magical 30 m² room has a very large double bed (180 x 200), storage and for those who are nostalgic, a pinball machine. Finally, by a small staircase you will have access to a beautiful bathroom with its retro toilet and shower of a pleasant size. The first floor is arranged in the attic in a single space, with a total area of 50 m². It has a bedroom with a large double bed (160 x 200), a TV lounge area and a music area, not to mention its library. Access to this floor is via a small spiral staircase. The low ceiling height upstairs is not a hindrance for adults but an ideal environment for children. Outside, you can enjoy a nice shaded terrace and its Mediterranean garden. Guests can also enjoy access to the indoor swimming pool and can stroll through the park to admire its centuries-old trees and different varieties of bamboo or outside the hamlet to discover the surrounding countryside. End-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in the rental rate. The bed linen consists of a complete set with fitted sheet, duvet cover, two pillowcases and a flat sheet for each room. The bath linen consists of a bath mat and for each person a guest towel, a bath towel, a shower towel and a washcloth. The kitchen linen has 3 kitchen towels, one table towel per person and finally an apron. Air conditioning is available for the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom. Guest access The cottage is independent of the family home which is located opposite. Entry into the estate is via a co-owned road. This hamlet of several properties is secured by a gate. Car access is therefore shared with the hosts and other residents of the hamlet. On site, you will have the opportunity to park for free in the reserved outdoor spaces. The garden and park are also shared with the hosts. Part of the park (behind the main house) and the travertine terrace next to the pool are strictly reserved for guests. The pool is shared with the hosts. It is private, unsupervised and unsecured despite the shelter. It is accessible from July 1 to September 14 according to the opening hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all week. These opening conditions are subject to change depending on weather, administrative conditions and by simple decision of the host for safety and hygiene purposes. During the summer, the use of the wood-burning stove is strictly prohibited. Finally, it is forbidden to wear or touch the stage costumes in the master bedroom on the ground floor. It is a spacious and bright vacation rental that has a total area of 140 m² on the ground, spread over 2 levels. It was designed as a friendly family home that can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (including children). All amenities and bedding are new and high-end to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay. The gîte is conveniently located close to Toulouse, Albi, Carcassonne or Narbonne. It allows you to explore the Lauragais region (land of the Cathars and pastel), a rich terroir renowned for its natural, cultural and gastronomic heritage, while enjoying privileged access to the Pyrenees as well as the Canal du Midi or the beaches of the Mediterranean.
