Welcome to our charming retreat for two, nestled on the foothills of Dartmoor. With a wood burning stove, stunning garden and a wood-fired hot tub, we promise you a blissful escape. A beautiful open plan design with a cosy living space, modern kitchen, large and inviting bedroom boasting a sumptuous super king bed. The bathroom is sleek with a large walk-in shower and luxurious bath. Enjoy the enclosed garden - a tranquil paradise with a wood-fired hot tub for evenings under the stars. The space Inside the Property The open-plan layout is designed for couples, featuring a comfortable living area, dining space, and a reading nook. A modern wood-burning stove sits at the centre, perfect for colder months. Relax on the sofa in front of the Smart TV or listen to music on the Bluetooth radio. The reading corner includes a Loaf Squishbag armchair. The kitchen is fully equipped with deep blue cabinets, white worktops, a combi oven and microwave, induction hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, and wine fridge. A washing machine is located in the bathroom, and a tumble dryer is in the nearby stable. The bedroom, on the lower level, has calming blue tones and Scandi-style furniture. It features a super king-size bed, wardrobe, large cupboard, bedside tables, and a dressing table. The ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, free-standing bath, underfloor heating, and a heated towel rail. Outdoor Space The enclosed garden offers peace and privacy with access to a private orchard, ponds, and woodland. A wood-fired hot tub provides a great spot to unwind under the stars. Extras • Private off-road parking and an electric car charging point (Type 2) • One or two small/medium, well-behaved dogs welcome (extra fee applies). Dog bed, bowls, treats and towels provided. Dogs are not allowed in the bedroom or on furniture. • Super-fast Starlink WiFi available. Mobile reception may be limited indoors but is usually available outside. Nearby Haytor Rock is close by, with stunning views from the top. A 20-minute walk brings you to The Carpenter’s Arms pub. For something more upscale, try The Rock Inn. Ullacombe Farm is nearby with a café and farm shop. Castle Drogo and the Teign Gorge are also worth visiting. Exeter is 30 minutes away for shopping and sightseeing. Ashburton and Totnes offer great antiques and independent shops. South Hams beaches like Blackpool Sands and Bigbury on Sea are around a 40-minute drive away.
