Richmond House Rest

Welcome to Richmond House Rest. This spacious first floor self contained apartment in the quiet village of Ellerton in East Yorkshire is perfectly situated for visiting historic city of York and surrounding area with easy access to the Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors. It is a great place for a mini relaxing get away, walking break or for visiting many of our local attractions including York Maze and University open days/visits and great for the award winning York Christmas market The space Richmond House Rest can sleep up to 4 and comprises of a large bedroom with king size bed, 32" smart TV, ensuite and wardrobe room. There is also an open plan living area with well equipped kitchen including fridge (with icebox) , oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, cutlery, crockery, glasses and dining area, free WiFi and 42" smart TV. The sofa can be turned in to a good size double bed with mattress topper for comfort. There is an additional toilet downstairs which is useful for guests using the sofa bed. Quality bedding, towels, bath and body products are provided. USB sockets are available at the bed side and in the main living area Downstairs there is a good size boot room for outdoor clothing and muddy boots. There is also an airer, iron, ironing board and laundry bag and 2 large umbrellas. The patio area for guest use is situated within the main shared garden which has a large unfenced pond. We are happy to take 1 small to medium size , well behaved dog. They must not be left in the apartment unattended Guest access Richmond House Rest is a private apartment to one side of our house, internally separated from the main house. It has its own access with lockbox and ample parking. Private entrance through side gate which leads out onto a decked area with patio table and chairs for guest use and views over open fields. Once inside, access to the flat is up the flight of stairs ( sorry there is no lift or disabled access) Other things to note No children under 10 years old. Babes in arms allowed but please bring your own cot, bedding and high chair. There is a Farmshop for essentials in Ellerton, and a Morrisons local and post office 3 miles away in Bubwith. You are welcome to order grocery delivery to our address. There is a village pub, but it doesn't serve food
