Arbor House

The Arbor house is a 400 square foot, 1 bedroom guest house with a large deck, sunny front room and full kitchen. Parking is right next to the house. The dedicated wifi is fast, and the A/C, hot water and heating are all electric. We are just outside the city limits (by 100 feet) in a 2.5 acre oasis of shade trees and hardy shrubs. Nothing is far away in this tiny, remote town in the high desert of Southeast Utah, including groceries, gas and movie theater. Private, quiet and restful! The space This is a 400 square foot mobile home, set on a concrete foundation, bolted to it with hurricane ties and it has a large shaded entry deck. This model of home is known as a "Park Model" and has everything you need, but it is very small. It was built in a factory and brought here on an 18-wheeler flatbed in 2012 to accommodate my mother for her comfort when visiting. The home is very bright and sunny. Because we live in an area of the world that is considered "frontier" by the USDA, you will not see curbs and street gutters or frequent street lights like you would in the city. The only guest that left a 4 star review complained about the "abandoned house" across the street (the old Flour Mill for which our little County road is named). If you are wanting an urban, refined, paved and fully landscaped place to stay, this town is not for you. But if you want to be very comfortable, sleep on 100% cotton sheets and have your own space with a great view to the mountains, THIS IS IT! Guest access You will have access to the entire Guest house as well as room for parking as many vehicles as you are likely to be bringing. We want you to be comfortable, so if you need something special, just ask! We might be able to loan you just the thing you need. PLEASE NOTE, that while we *can* accommodate 4 guests, they will only be comfortable if they can sleep with someone else in a double bed. We have a Queen bed in the bedroom, and a double-sized sofa bed in the living room. Two parents and two kids do well here, but four NFL players might just hate it. Other things to note Like most people, we are doing the best we can, which is usually really good. If there are problems with your stay, please get in touch and we will do our best to make things right. We want to earn your good opinion, so always let us know if you need anything. The grocery store is closed on Sunday, but the convenience stores are not. If there are four people in your party, they need to be GOOD FRIENDS, since there are only two beds.
