BAL Residency

This is a freshly opened artist's residency offering rooms for curious travelers willing to interact with a local artistic community as well as other international artists in residence. Located on top of a film and photography darkroom, the place will offer an immediate connection to a very artistic atmosphere as well as suggest you some local tips to do and explore. This place is good for people who are solo travelers who are willing to interact with other people. The space The apartment is located on a second floor of an artist run film and photography lab. The apartment is 200m2 large with a large living room that is shared with other guests. It has a space for working on a laptop as well as place to chill out. There are 4 bedrooms, from which we rent out two for other guests. (Price is per room, we will charge extra if two rooms are needed) There is a shared kitchen and dining area with all the needed tools. Bathroom is shared too and toilet is separated. There is a washing machine in the apartment. In the yard there is a place to park a car for additional small cost. The place is located in a very authentic and creative neighbourhood surrounded by old wooden houses, craft beer places, parks and bars. Guest access You will have your own bedroom with a key and access to a large shared living room. You will be given a key for the apartment. During your stay Since we are primarily a residency space for international artists, we are willing to host open minded people who are willing to interact with other people in the residency space. We are especially eager to host like-minded people who are interested in culture, art, film, music, literature etc.
