This centrally located, well-appointed house offers your group multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining areas within walking distance both to VT Campus and downtown Blacksburg. Less than 1/2-mile from Lane Stadium, yards from the Huckleberry Trail and with plenty of parking, your home away from home awaits. The space Whether you are coming to town to watch the Hokies win, toast a recent grad, reminisce with old college buddies, or just escape the grind of life, Blacksburg Beauty has what you need for a memorable get away. This well-appointed house offers multiple entertaining areas, a large (partially fenced) back yard for your fur-babies and kids to run around, a fully stocked kitchen to bring out your inner gourmand, a sunroom and bar to raise a glass, and all the serving ware needed to host your friends and family. - Upstairs enjoy the full, eat-in kitchen, separate dining room, living room with TV, half bath and access to the large back deck. - The eat-in kitchen offers all the cook prep, cooking, baking, serving and eating needs. Just add food and drinks and enjoy! - Three separate eating areas offer plenty of space to spread out to enjoy the feasts you prepare. - The back deck offers a sitting area, gas fire pit, dining table and gas grill. Enjoy sitting out back under the stars and glow from Lane Stadium while listening to the Marching Virginians practice just steps away. - Downstairs, in addition to bedrooms, you will find another large family room with TV with adjoining game room and wood-burning fireplace, sunroom with large TV and bar, and access to the backyard and patio. - The 4 bedrooms downstairs offer plenty of accommodations for several couples and kids. Additional sleeping arrangements are provided with a trundle, pull-out sofa, and an air mattress. - Hot Tub -- Relax in our spacious hot tub on the back patio, just off of the sunroom below the back deck. - On-demand hot water heater means the capacity to get everyone ready for the day ahead. Guest access You will have full access to the property, except for the following areas that will remain locked: - Our upstairs master bedroom & bath - Owner's closet in the foyer - Detached garage - We further ask that you not engage with our utility trailer or our sailboat/trailer in the backyard. Other things to note We are opening up our home to you for your stay. Our home is located in a quiet, family neighborhood and we hope that you treat it and our neighbors with the same respect that you would like to be treated when you are home. While we hope that you enjoy your time to connect with friends and family and celebrate a Hokies win, we ask you to remember there are families, with young children, trying to sleep and go about their daily lives. While we have a large house that is set up to host up to 12 people and a dog or two, we do not allow large parties that would create noise for our neighbors. We have put thought into our House Rules, so please do read and respect them during your stay.
