Discover our lovingly restored cottage from 1910 – in the middle of the green Eleonorental in Bad Köstritz, known for its Köstritzer black beer and the traditional dahlia culture. On three floors, nostalgic original furniture, a soothing infrared sauna and above all: a lot of peace and quiet await you. Surrounded by forest, meadows and the rippling Goldbach, the house is the ideal place for a break, creative workation or relaxed family time. The space On the ground floor you will find a new bathroom with shower, toilet and infrared sauna – perfect for relaxing after a day in the fresh air. Through the wooden bridge or the external staircase you enter the living area with a cozy living room and a '60s retro-style kitchen. It looks nostalgic, but has everything you need – including Philips Airfryer & induction hobs. The wood-burning stove (on which you can also cook) provides cozy warmth, in addition there is a heater and an air conditioning. The terrace with barbecue is our favorite place: from morning to evening sunny, quietly located, overlooking old ash and accompanied by birdsong. In the attic you will find an open sleeping storage with a double bed and two single beds – ideal for families or good friends. Wifi is available in case you want to work or stream in peace. Also 4 bicycles (no e-bike) for tours through the Elstertal. Washing machine available. The area invites you to switch off: stroll along the rippling Goldbach, explore the Elstertal or take excursions to Gera, Jena or Greiz. If you like, relax in the Kristalltherme Bad Klosterlausnitz or jump to the outdoor swimming pool in Bad Köstritz in summer. Our chickens, the Scottish Highland cattle Liesl & Heidi, sheep and cats live on the property – fresh eggs and bread rolls are available on request. Linen and towels are included. Guest access You can get the key from the landlord on site. Other things to note Feel free to bring slippers, house shoes, etc. and bathrobes.
