Island Waterfront Cottage Loft with Private Pier

Kick back and relax in this calm, waterfront open space cottage on the Wicomico River. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming off the pier, and boating. Located 45 miles south of DC on a 1 square mile island that has local restaurants and quaint grocery store. This cottage has vaulted ceilings with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a unique loft provides extended room for extra guests. It offers high-end kitchen with appliances for the best cooking and hosting-experience. The space Kitchen offers High-end Thermador appliances including a 36" gas range, French door refrigerator, under counter dual drawer refrigerator, under county wine fridge, and dishwasher. Kitchen small appliances include Cuisineart 4 slicer toaster; Cuisineart dual function coffee pot of grounds and k-cup,; Ninja dual drawer air fryer; Insta-Pot; Ninja Professional Plus blender dual smoothie, processor, bullet; Living room offers modular couches to rearrange to accommodate your needs and guests. Pier provides a place to fish, catch the sun, take breathtaking pictures, jump into the river. Water hose on pier. There is one Crab pot available to use on the pier as well as a holding crab pot. 5 light fishing poles also available for use. Kayak or use stand up paddle boards in the Wicomico River. 5 children's sit-on-top kayaks and 2 adult sit-on-top single kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards are available as part of your stay with paddles. A paddle boat is also available (can be heavy to put in on your own) on those very calm days. Life jackets are available and also required on the water! Sizes are 4 infant, 2 children, 1 water wings, 4 youth, 1 adult XL, 2 adult medium. Outdoor shower is available for a quick rinse off after swimming, kayaking, boating, or fishing. Outdoor gas grill offers ease of use to grill up your catch of the day! Golf carts and bicycles run about the island. You are more than welcome to bring your golf cart, scooters, and bikes, for your stay. A few bikes as-is on sight. Guest access Guests can use all areas of the house with the exception of one locked pantry door. Guests should remain within the front and back yards during their stay. Please refrain from our using our neighbors' yards, piers, boats, driveways, and furniture.
