Ilha Grande Cabin 1 Village

Aldeia is a small condominium situated 9 min. walk from the beach, on Vila do Abraão's upper part, next to the forest, in a quiet place where you sleep to the sound of crickets! There are 5 cottages that divide a large garden with trees, a refreshing shower and mountain view. The 100MB optic fiber internet connection is stable, which allows virtual meetings and remote work. The space Aldeia is at the upper part of Francino Inácio do Nascimento Street (or Rua do Cemitério), about 650 meters (or a 9 minutes walk) away from the pier and downtown. Within 9 minutes, 3 minutes are on a slope. The nearest beach is about 9 min. of the condominium. Markets, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery and tour operators are on a 6 min. walk from the condominium. There are no cars on Ilha Grande! I, Alexandre, am the owner and responsible for the reservations. I do not live on the Island. Tatiane is the co-hostess, she lives on the island and is responsible for receiving the guests and give full support to them. Cabin 1 is a loft with a double bed on a mezzanine, living room with 2 single beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. It presents great finish, being well ventilated and well illuminated. It is ideal for couples or families up to 4 people. There is w-fi internet. Includes bedding and towels. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator of 280 liters, 4 burner stove with oven, blender, clay filter, pots, utensils, plates and cutlery. The bathroom has shower enclosure and shower with gas heater. There are 2 fans. The balcony has a hammock. In the back there is a service area with a washing tank. The washing machines and dryers are not located in the house, but in a restricted area in the condominium. The guest is not allowed access to these equipment. Guest access Cabana 1 (as well as the other 4 houses) is all for the exclusive use of the guest, not shared with anyone else. Only the use of the garden is shared with the guests of the other houses. There is a washing machine and dryer in the condominium but the guest is not allowed access to this equipment. Other things to note The house does not have its own electric generator. We are not responsible for any power outages caused by the supplier. It is relatively common for power outages to occur due to bad weather, overload (especially during high season and holidays) and other unforeseen reasons. Sometimes there is a power outage in only one or two phases of the electricity supply. The condominium has 3 phases and each house is supplied by 2 phases, so during a power outage some houses may have power and others may not. Hot showers are not affected because the water heater is gas-powered. We recommend bringing battery-powered flashlights and extra cell phone batteries (power banks). We do not accept cancellations due to power outages. The companies that provide the internet service rarely fail to deliver the signal. When this happens it is usually restored within a few hours. In the absence of Tatiane another person will be responsible for receiving and supporting the guest throughout their stay. There are no ATMs and banks in Ilha Grande, but every place accept credit cards. Even so it is advisable to bring some money. The floor of the streets of Vila do Abraão is uneven. It is made of cobblestones, dirt or sand, so wheeling suitcases are not the most suitable type of luggage. Transportation of luggage to the house is not included. It is recommended to hire the service of luggage loader, which can be found on the pier, for about 50 reais.
