3 On The Lake is a beautifully appointed ground-floor apartment within a Victorian Mansion House. Set on the western shores of Windemere, it offers a wonderful view across the grounds to the lake's waters and the wooded fellside beyond. The space The contemporary furnishings and a very swish kitchen in the spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge make this feel like a real treat of a property. Tall windows take in that view from the lounge, and for entertainment, you have superfast Wi-Fi service. Guests may relax on the lawns or wander through the private grounds down to the shore to appreciate the view. Both bedrooms are a good size, with restful décor and high-quality beds to ensure a good night’s sleep. The bathroom has the luxury of underfloor heating, a walk-in shower, and modern fittings. The location close to Newby Bridge is excellent for local attractions and access to other parts of the Lakes. Locally, you can take a cruise on the lake up to Bowness, visit the Lakes Aquarium and the Lakeland Motor Museum, and dine out in the hotels at Newby Bridge. Further afield, you are a short drive from Hawkshead and Grizedale Forest, with Coniston and Bowness around 10 miles away. We recommend this property for family holidays and romantic getaways.
