Take a break and unwind in the country at The Barnhouse. This spacious/private barnhouse apartment is elegantly furnished and situated in a farm setting near Fruita, Colorado. Relax by the fire pit on the shaded patio with tremendous views of the Colorado National Monument, and take advantage of the many outdoor activities the local area has to offer. Full kitchen, laundry, separate bedroom, sofa sleeper, outdoor grill & firepit, easy access to Fruita & Grand Junction, and spectacular views. The space One bedroom apartment with full kitchen, laundry, and living room. Queen-sized bed in separate bedroom. Queen-sized sofa sleeper (extremely comfortable Koala brand) available. In-apartment laundry available. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Outdoor patio area with grill, firepit, and dining area. Apartment is private but located in a modern barn shared with the Owner's home office and shop. The apartment is on the ground floor and there are no steps inside or outside of the apartment. The Owner also lives in a separate residence on the shared 5.5 acre lot. Guest access Guests will be sent an access code for the smart lock, which will grant access to the apartment's private entrance. Other things to note Please ask us about our available recreational shuttle service. We offer this paid service to our guests interested in getting shuttled to/from hikes, river floats, bike rides, and any other activity where a ride would be handy to have.
