Popples Annexe is stylish retreat nestled within the Suffolk Countryside. Located on the outskirts of Thurston and is a stones throw from Black Bourn Valley Suffolk wildlife trust. 10 minute drive to the historical market town of Bury St Edmunds. The space Private entry and parking for 2 vehicles. The spacious lounge has a two large sofas (sofa beds), smart tv, sound bar and dining table with 4 chairs. The vibrant kitchenette has an oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Well equipped for your culinary needs. The bedroom has a large tv, double bed and ample space for a for a travel cot and/or toddler bed (available on request). We provide bedding and towels. The boutique bathroom has a waterfall shower, toilet and basin. Patio, table and chairs are available in the garden. Guest access The owners live next door to the property. Guests have access to garden and paddock, accessible by patio doors and path next to the property through the gate. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruits from the orchard when in season. Please park in front of annexe. Zappi EV charger for use at extra cost. Other things to note Thurston has broad range of amenities (pubs, grocery stores, eateries, post office, fuel station and train station etc). 10 minute drive to historic market town Bury St Edmunds (and Abbey Gardens, Cathedral, Theatre Royal, APEX) 20 minute drive to Anglo Saxon Village West Stow. 20 minute drive to Ickworth national Trust Park. 20 minute drive to Newmarket. 30 minute drive to Lavenham. 45 minute drive to Cambridge & Ipswich. 15 minute drive to West Suffolk Cemetery and Crematorium. Thurston train Station offers regulars services to London, Cambridge, Ipswich & Ely. Walking and cycling routes. Suffolk coast is within an hours drive.
