Lakeside Log Cabin

This newly renovated little log cabin is a slice of paradise. Rustic cabin experience with modern finishes. Plenty of outdoor space with endless views of the lake and a beach private to the property. Relax and enjoy the sunset every night. Have a cozy fire and wait for the stars to light up the sky. The space -The rooms are a bit small but they are cozy! There are no dressers, but they each have hangers and luggage racks. -There are only 3 seats in the living room, although 4 stools for the kitchen, two can be found in the closet. -The tv has no cable, just Netflix and Disney, but you may add your accounts with the wifi if you have other streaming sources. -The wifi works the best in the living room and out front by fire pit area. It seems to be more difficult through the log walls. Sorry for any inconvenience. -We are on water intake from the lake which is run through a pressurized pump system with extreme filtration. The water is completely safe and clean to drink. The taps make sputter while the air works its way through the system. It occasionally happens when you are in the shower, sorry for this inconvenience, but that is part of being out in the country! If you experience this, simply step out of the water as it may cool down, and give it a moment to pressurize. It will pass shortly. - The beach is private to this property, however the owners home is beside the cabin (although they may not be home during your stay) and there is a Trailer which may occasionally have renters as well. So be prepared that you may not be the only people at this beach! If you are not comfortable there are also two local beaches within 5-10 minutes from the property that are larger and have more space. -Please be aware that we are in the woods and although we have many controls in place, But we ask that you know that we cannot control every one of them. We are doing our best and have professional care and treatments in place. Guest access The driveway down is a narrow dirt road, with no guard rails. It is only wide enough for one car, but with many pull outs, so please drive defensively and share the space. The driveway is not maintained publicly, therefore the speed limit is a strict 20km/hr. We know it feels slow but please help us preserve this road for ourselves and the neighbours. Please try to avoid spinning the tires. Thank you for your attention! The parking space is directly in front of the cabin, it will be noticeable when you arrive. Other things to note -Please note that wood fires will only be permitted while owners are home! We cannot guarantee we will be home during your stay! However there is a propane fire pit set up just outside your cabin for full use anytime. One tank is included in your stay, you may refill at the local Grey Creek Store if you would like more. -There is no guard rails on the property which sits 30 meters above the lake and has a fairly steep hill on the edge of the property. We cannot be responsible for any incidents. Please keep a safe distance back from the edge of the property. -There is also no hand railing on the stairs down to the beach, the stairway is fairly steep, please be aware and cautious when using. - There are two other buildings on the property, so there is a possibility of other guests or owners in the area or at the beach. -We are in the woods, there is wildlife around.
