Peaceful Lake House in Native Bush

The stunning shores of the lake, Arnold River and the tranquil Lake Brunner scenic trail are accessible by biking or walking to the end of our street. Comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests and 1 infant over two bedrooms. Enjoy open-plan living with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a relaxing lounge that invites you to unwind after a day of exploring. Games and cards available. The space Our home is still under construction, but will be finished and available by early 2026. The house has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and a portacot. The second bedroom contains two sets of bunks, one set has two single beds, and the other set has a bottom double bed and top single bed. The bedrooms are separated by the open plan living area, which contains the kitchen, dining room, and lounge. The kitchen has gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and combined clothes washer and dryer. A BBQ is available outside. The lounge has a smart TV which you can use to watch TV or play music. Our backyard is a native tree forest, where you'll discover Weka, Fantails, and other local birds. Wander along our forest path, or find a perch, and listen to bird song. At the end of our street you'll find the lake for boating or swimming, and the Lake Brunner Scenic Trail which you can walk, run, or bike along. Further afield is Mitchell's Lodge which you can catch a water taxi to and enjoy a drink in the sun on the deck, or their is the pub on the other side of the swing bridge. Guest access You'll have access to the entire house, and welcome to explore our paths. Other things to note Early check-in: If the property is available up 1 hour before the check-in time, it is out pleasure to offer you a complimentary 1 hour early check-in. However, any earlier, if there is a request for an early check-in, and we can accommodate that request, then we will charge an extra $75 to offset the change in the cleaning and inspection schedule of a third-party so that we can ensure your check-in is as easy as possible. In some instances, it will not be possible to check-in any earlier than 12pm. Late check-out: If there is a request for a late check-out, and we can accommodate that request, then we we will charge an extra $75 to offset the change in the cleaning and inspection schedule of a third-party so that we can ensure your check-out is as easy as possible. The $20 management fee is the cost for us to drop guest rubbish at the dump after each stay. If you will dump your own rubbish, let me know and we will remove the management fee. We love travelling as much as you do, and we acknowledge the environmental impact of travel. As such, we donate towards local bird, native tree, or the local scenic track initiatives for each booking to offset the environmental impact of travel in the West Coast. Aroha nui (big love).
