Location is on the lake with a dock and kayaks available for use. Greensboro has an historic general store (Willey's) and the award-winning brewery, Hill Farmstead, is nearby in Greensboro Bend. The space This is a cozy cabin with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and one bedroom fully contained upstairs. It is a lakefront property that sits on a hill above the shore. There is a gravel path from the parking area down to the house of about 150 yards and another winding gravel path from the bunkhouse to the lake. PLEASE TAKE CARE when in the lake. It is very low this year the shore is very rocky - the rocks can be slippery! There are kayaks, paddleboards and an aluminum canoe for guest use in the spring, fall and summer. The dock is taken out of the lake in the fall (depending on temperature of water). When the dock is out you can follow the lake path to the right to the neighboring property to get a better view of the lake and launch kayaks if the lake is not freezing. There is a solo stove firepit on the deck. You must provide your own firewood. No raging fires. Please pay attention to burn bans. No fires over 6 inches high as sparks are a danger to the roof of the pergola, and the house of course. IN WINTER, the driveway is plowed, but a heavy storm can happen at any time. Please be prepared as heavy snow is part of life in Vermont. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house.
