The space The Property Built with eco-credentials at its core, Devon Eco Retreat is a beautiful, comfortable space designed for rest, relaxation, and easy living. The house sleeps four, plus an infant in a cot. The second bedroom can be arranged as either a super king or two single beds; please let us know your preference after booking otherwise I’ll be set to twin. All on one level, the home features an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, two generous bedrooms, a hallway, and a spacious wet room, making it ideal for couples, families, and guests seeking step-free access. The property was designed by local award-winning architects and built by a small team of exceptional tradespeople. Dartmoor National Park is close by, offering endless walking and cycling opportunities, while Devon’s beautiful beaches and coastal towns are within easy reach. Guest Access Guests have private access to the entire property, garden, deck, and parking area. Self check-in makes arrival easy and flexible. Guest access The house has its own private entrance with ample parking, private lawned garden, deck with BBQ, fire pit and outside eating area. Other things to note House Rules • Check-in from 4pm | Check-out by 10am • No smoking or vaping inside the property • No parties or events • Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10pm • Please report any breakages or issues as soon as possible • Only registered guests may stay overnight Family-Friendly Features • Single-level, step-free layout • Travel cot available (please request in advance) • Flexible bedroom setup (super king or twin beds) • Spacious wet room • Safe, enclosed garden areas (children should be supervised near the stream) Pet Policy We do not usually allow dogs. However, in extenuating circumstances, please contact us prior to booking to discuss, requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to potential additional fee. Note The house has been built with an environmental conscience and does not run on gas nor oil. Instead we have a ground source heat pump, MVHR and solar panels. This has created a lovely temperature year round with superb air quality. It has also eliminated the requirement for a carbon monoxide detector.
