In the morning when you wake up, you hear the birds chirping. You can regularly see the hares running on the terrace overlooking the orchard. Sometimes there are also deer in the adjacent grassland. Welcome to our converted barn in a unique spot in Barlo, the outskirts of Aalten! Enjoy the tranquility and nature. Nearby are plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling. The space Our bed & kitchen has on the ground floor a sitting area, private work and dining area, kitchen and bathroom. Through the open staircase, you come to the loft, the bedroom. We've remodeled this space while maintaining original details. The material is reused as much as possible or of natural origin. For example, the shelves of the bed and the wall are in the bedroom of our own spruce trees. From about June 2026, the second accommodation, located next to this space, will be ready for rent. Can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. The terrace is a lovely shaded place. If you want to sit in the sun, you can put your chair in your own spot in the orchard. Also there is a hammock. In the evening you can light a fire in the fire area. We make wood available. Our chickens regularly run loose. You can also come across the cat and in a separate meadow are our sheep. Guest access The driveway leads to our beautiful home. Next to the large barn and the wood storage, you can park your car. Once you have picked up the key from us, you walk to the back of the barn, where the accommodation is. A unique place with lots of privacy. Other things to note The bedroom is only accessible via an open staircase. It is a bed & kitchen, basically no breakfast is served. Shops are 2 km away. Bicycles can be placed under a canopy and it is possible to charge electric bicycles. The electric car can be charged at our charging point with fixed ccs plug. From about June 2026, our second accommodation, located directly next to this space, will be ready for rent. As a result, there will be slightly less privacy.
