Designed with care, our home features soaring 3-meter high ceilings and expansive windows that bathe the interiors in natural light. The fully equipped kitchen and spacious living and dining areas offer a touch of designer elegance, perfect for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. Our furniture and decor are modern and thoughtfully designed, with splashes of colour to create a cheerful ambiance. Our bedrooms feature custom-designed beds with the comfiest mattresses for a great night's sleep and quality bedding from a boutique Thai company. Both bedrooms are equipped with AC for your comfort. The living and dining room boasts giant windows that look directly onto Zen Beach, making it a perfect spot for people-watching and getting to know the regulars who pass by daily. The dining room has a large table for all your meals, and the living area offers comfy cushions and armchairs for relaxing indoors with the AC. Our bathrooms have an earthy feel, highlighted by handmade mosaic wall features. We provide cruelty-free, chemical-free shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, toaster, kettle, and pots and pans. Our ceramic cups and plates are crafted by Thai potters from around the country, supporting local artists and making your morning coffee taste even better! There's no place in the world that quite compares to Zen Beach, here, you'll find DJs playing until 8.30pm (sometimes a bit later, depending on the mood of the party), drum circles every Friday, and a variety of activities like circus arts, meditation circles, and yoga. There's always something happening here to keep you entertained and immersed in the unique Zen Beach culture. Zen Beach is part of the Srithanu village, where you'll find everything you need. From delicious restaurants to convenient amenities, it's all just a short walk or drive away. Srithanu is known for its friendly atmosphere and welcoming community, making it a great place to explore and enjoy. Our house is newly renovated with no asbestos materials used and all paint is lead-free, both nasties that are still used in construction country-wide, so you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind. Note: Electricity is charged at the standard rate of 6 THB per unit. We’ll take a reading of the meter when you arrive and when you leave. While electricity costs are usually quite reasonable, this helps ensure everyone is mindful of their energy use on our lovely island. We really appreciate your understanding! Guest access The entire house is accessible, except for the storeroom and back balcony where supplies are kept. Other things to note A gentle reminder: the bar plays music until 8:30pm each night, sometimes a bit later depending on how the party is going. If you are an early sleeper, some ambient noise may be heard. On Saturdays the bar currently has a later night finishing up at 10.30pm. It's fun night, nothing too wild, and this has not been any problems for past guests. Because our home is surrounded by trees and nature, you might occasionally see some little critters like geckos wandering inside. These harmless creatures actually help by eating mosquitoes, so we coexist peacefully with them. While electricity and internet are generally stable on the island, occasional power cuts can happen. These are usually short-lived, and things typically return to normal quickly. Security cameras For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, we have security cameras installed outside only (at the entrance and exterior areas). There are no cameras inside the house and no sound is recorded.
