Guesthouse Located in green

Slow down in this unique, soothing accommodation with a lovely large garden. On the border of Hengelo and picturesque Delden is this comfortable guesthouse. A perfect place for nature lovers and a great base for walking and biking trips! Outside on private property are many nice relaxing places, a food forest, vegetable garden and sweet animals. The guest house itself has all the comforts: a nice bed, complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom, fast internet, TV. The space The guesthouse is a nice, clean, and bright space. It consists of a living/bedroom, a bathroom, and an area with a refrigerator where you can prepare coffee and tea. In addition to these spaces, which are entirely and exclusively for you as a guest, there is a fully furnished utility room. We as hosts do not use this utility room. Only our own washing machine is there and we sometimes pass the utility room when we go in or out of our property. The guest house is located in the annex of our home. We live in the adjacent home with two adults. We are friendly and social people who respect the privacy of our guests. The area is great for hiking and biking. There are several beautiful routes directly from the guesthouse. If you love sauna/wellness, there are 3 good options within a 20-minute drive: Huize Holterhof Enschede, Sare Thermen & Beauty Oldenzaal and Saunapark Epe, Germany. With children, the Oyfo Techniekmuseum (3 km) and amusement park de Waarbeek (5 km) are very fun. Picturesque Delden is a nice place to visit (3 km), Twickel estate is also very close and beautiful. Hengelo has several nice restaurants, shopping is very good in Enschede and in Germany you are in 25 minutes. Guest access The guest house has its own entrance. In the garden there are several nice seats, especially for the guests of the guest house. Further down the plot are more outdoor seating areas, which are also used by visitors to our rest area for hikers and cyclists on a number of days a week. Other things to note We have a beautiful large and green plot that offers many advantages and has great ecological value but we are also close to a highway. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, you may hear it more or less when you're out. Due to a tall (noise)shore with trees, you won't see the road. The advantage is that you can easily drive in all directions (Enschede, Germany, etc.). Volunteers work in our garden a few days a week. In doing so, we always consider the guests of the guesthouse. Unfortunately, we don't serve breakfast. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can of course prepare your own breakfast. You are also always welcome to check with Marieke (the landlady) if there is still fresh fruit or vegetables from her own garden for you. There are two simple bikes available that you can use for a small fee (3 euros a day per bike). Please let us know in advance if you want this and we will make sure the bikes are ready! In our driveway and the parking spaces always grow the necessary (on-)herb between the stones. We do not use pesticides and take the worst road by hand or a burner. In general, imagine a natural environment that is certainly well cared for but not very tight. The price for overnight stays includes cleaning costs, VAT 21%, tourist tax, bed linen and towels, coffee and tea etc. and the service costs for Airbnb of about €14.50 per night. So this is an all-in price, nothing will be added to the price. The government has decided to increase the VAT on accommodation in the Netherlands from 9 to 21% from January 2026, so we have unfortunately had to increase our price.
