'Old Bull Barn', a small but perfectly formed converted barn. Set in a unique village, within a pretty garden, overlooking a wildlife pond & main house, itself a historic cruciform barn Calm & light décor, open plan living, feature vaulted ceiling & original beams. Ideal for two: cooking, dining & relaxing. Super comfy kingsize bed & luxury ensuite rain shower Perfect for Addington EC, visiting NT Stowe, Claydon Estate & Waddesdon. 30mins to Silverstone Circuit, Bletchley Park & Bicester Village The space A small barn in the curtilage of a residential Grade II listed cruciform barn. Light, airy and very comfy. The décor has been created to be calm and easy on the eye. The barn once housed the farm bull when first built back in the 1800's. Don't worry, no bulls around now! Ideally suited to single travellers or couples. Currently, the barn only sleeps maximum of 2 in a king-size bed. By special request, the barn could accommodate a separate bed by means of a portable foldaway bed. A couple travelling with a young baby would also be considered. For an additional fee, ONE very well behaved small to medium sized dog will be considered on request. (of course assistance dogs accepted with no additional fee) The KITCHEN area ... fully equipped with a Neff gas hob and Neff electric oven. Allowing you to connect to your streaming app accounts such as Netflix, Amazon Prime. Enjoy vinyl music with a Victrola portable suitcase record player or connect wirelessly to play music from your Bluetooth device. The sofa is a cosy comfy chenille from Laura Ashley. The BEDROOM ... king-size bed with a medium firmness mattress rating to suit most people, plus a luxurious topper for added comfort for a good night's sleep. There is plenty of storage via chest of drawers and an open wardrobe for hanging garments. The ENSUITE ...main rain shower with separate handheld shower for flexibility. Vanity bathroom mirror with LED light and toothbrush/shaver charger socket. Plus under floor heating to make sure night trips to the bathroom are always warm in the cooler months! The OUTSIDE ... there is personal seating area for two with a small iron table, two 'loveseat' chairs with cushions and a parasol. A small BBQ is available. Overlooking our wildlife pond, front garden and the main house (a listed barn built around 1580). Please feel free to take a look in the pond (depending on the season, has a variety of wildlife including Great Crested Newts, common newts, toads, dragonflies, diving beetles, boatman, skaters, whirly gig beetles and many visiting birds etc... Guest access Guests have use of the entire 'Old Bull Barn' and personal patio area.
