A unique stay in a charming rural farm for up to 6. On the edge of the Cotswolds and near Bath, Castle Combe and Lacock. The large double room has an en-suite bathroom. An adjacent twin room, has a separate shower room. A cosy double room with wash basin is also available for a small charge. All share a landing and staircase. Tea and coffee making facilities provided Access to lovely gardens, the farmyard and animals and walks around surrounding farmland. Breakfast available on request. The space Welcome to our family home in the Cotswolds, a quintessential and slightly eccentric English farmhouse offering an authentic countryside experience for up to 6 people in three rooms. Nestled amidst rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, our farmhouse is perfect for those seeking an off-the-beaten-track stay in a thoroughly rural setting. Filled with the quirks and charms of a lived-in family home the house provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy the unique character and personal touches that make our home special. Experience the joys of farm life with our friendly free-roaming animals. Meet our pigs, geese, horses, and the beloved family dogs. You can even gather fresh eggs from our hen house. Wander through the farmland, where every corner offers a new delight or enjoy a cup of tea amidst blooming flowers in our beautiful English country garden. The surrounding area boasts wonderful walking trails, including visits to historical sites such as Great Chalfield House, or across fields to the village pub and Court Gardens in Holt. We are on the Wiltshire Cycle Route so it is a wonderful base for those wishing to explore the area on two wheels. Immerse yourself in the rich history and natural beauty of the Cotswolds. While secluded, our farmhouse is just a 15-minute drive from the historic city of Bath. Explore its renowned Roman Baths, Georgian architecture, and vibrant cultural scene. Within 5 minutes by car or a lovely walk across country you can get to Merkins Farm Cafe, Lowden Garden Centre and Farm shop and The Field Kitchen in Holt all offering many excellent options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also several good pubs nearby including The Pear Tree, The Longs Arms and The Methuen Arms. Please note that the accommodation does not include a kitchen however a home cooked breakfast in our farmhouse kitchen is available by arrangement for a modest charge. Guest access Whilst staying at the farm you will have access to the land surrounding the house and to the gardens with many seating areas. In summer, by arrangement, the swimming pool may be available. Other things to note We are very flexible and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please feel free to ask questions or make requests prior to booking so that we can avoid misunderstandings or disappointment.
