Guest suite in the Lake District

Independent room, with its own entrance, in a village house on edge of the Lakes, 9 mins from M6 J36. Stroll along the country lane to Levens shop, Hare & Hounds pub or 15 min walk over the fell to National Trust- Sizergh Castle. Visit Levens Hall with a fantastic cafe & bakery. Easy drive to Windermere and the rest of the lakes and mountains. We are a 5 minute walk from The Lake District National Park boundary. The space This room is on the first floor, with its own entrance up a flight of external stairs. There’s plenty of space for relaxing and views towards the Lyth Valley. Comfy room: double bed, en-suite, kettle, toaster, toastie maker, fridge, TV and sofa. Please note we do not have cooking facilities. Towels are provided. We are a new build house with a small amount of landscaping to do, this means some outside areas may look unfinished. *Also to mention the two neighbouring plots of land either side are still to build their houses this could create building noise during your stay, the price is currently reduced to reflect this * Guest access Access to the independent guest suite via outdoor steps. It is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Other things to note We are a family home with children and a Labrador so expect some outdoor playing. Public transport : For people hoping to use public transport to Windermere etc : although buses come to Levens, the bus stops are on the outskirts and are not very easily accessible, be prepared to walk 30ish minutes to the A590 Levens bridge or Sizergh/Heaves stop. Look up the times for the X6, 555, 755, 511, 530.
