The JDF Way Station is a private cabin located in the Wild Coast Cottages development that sleeps up to 4 guests with one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa pullout. An open living space with exposed beams, equipped kitchen, full bath, WIFI, gas BBQ, wood-burning fire pit, and cozy wraparound deck, bring all the comforts of home with a touch of rustic escape. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, marinas, and remote beaches, let this be a haven for your escape. Pet friendly. The space We work hard to provide everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The main cabin is a cozy, at around 400 square feet, but has all the essentials for a memorable stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need, and there's lots of fridge space for anything you bring. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided for our guests. WIFI is included, but it's on the slower side and gives you the perfect excuse to get out of a videoconference ----- the cottage is nestled in a rainforest, surrounded by the lush beauty of nature. While the hosts make efforts to clear away cobwebs, animal and bird droppings, as well as leaves and debris before guests arrive, they kindly ask guests to understand that the cottage is situated in the habitat of these creatures. Therefore, it's natural for them to rebuild their webs and nests. Appreciating this delicate balance between human habitation and the natural environment adds to the charm of the stay. ----- There is limited cell service in Port Renfrew, but the cottage has WI-FI. Guest can email, or enable WI-FI calling on their smart phone, or use other application to call such as What's app, or others. There is also a couple pay phone in town if needed. Current cell phone providers that work in the area are Rogers, Fido, Shaw and limited Telus. Guest access The main cottage and yard space. Other things to note please bring 🔥 firewood and starters with you. The owner does not supply fire 🔥 wood. If you notice they're running low during your stay, feel free to let us know! Please note: we do not provide coffee, so be sure to bring your favorite brew. ---- dishes are washed and put away by previous guest, due to the lack of cleaners, resources and housing they are not able to reward or check between each stay.
