Stylish open plan space; quiet nights & dark skies

The Hide is a beautiful, open plan space with an oak beam vaulted ceiling looking out over an acre of wild grasses with mown paths to wander down. Outside there is a covered seating area to enjoy the shade on sunny days or shelter from the rain with a cup of tea. The Brecks, renowned for its wildlife and bird life, is on the doorstep. Dotted with the gnarled silhouettes of Scots pines, there are nature reserves to explore on foot, quiet roads for cycle rides and wild swimming spots nearby. The space This is an open plan space with lots of natural light. There is a very comfortable super king sized bed (which can be separated into two single beds), a three seater sofa, dining table and kitchenette with oven, microwave, two ring hob and dishwasher. The smart TV can be angled to view from the bed or the sofa and there is a south facing covered patio with seating area and coffee table. To the north of The Hide is a paddock with wild grasses and mown paths. Look out for barn owls, woodpeckers, hares and deer! Please note, we live in the adjacent house (see exterior photos) and will be available to help you during your stay if needed but otherwise we will leave you to it. Guest access You will have access to the paddock to the north of The Hide as well as the mown garden to the south. There is also a covered patio which offers some shelter from the rain or sun. Other things to note You will need a car here. We are in a very rural position, although close to Bardwell, the road to the village isn’t easy to walk on so it’s best to drive.
