Enjoy delicious meals made with some fresh ingredients from the farm. these are lovingly prepared by our on-site caretaker and served on your outdoor dining area. The space Secluded Escape near Yala National Park: Sahana Retreat offers a peaceful getaway just 1.5km from the Buttala-Kataragama Road. The place is perfect for exploring the area. Take just a few minutes drive to Yala National Park for an exciting safari adventure. We are near Yala block 4/5 which is the quieter gate with fewer jeeps and crowds. The property arranges full day or half day safari jeep tours according to the guests' requirement. Immerse Yourself in History and Nature: The retreat is close to Kataragama sacred sites, giving you the option to explore Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage. Also you can visit ancient Buduruwagala Temple and some other historical places nearby. Cozy Accommodations: Relax in Sahana Retreat's charming one-bedroom farm bungalow. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and two single beds, ideal for a family or group of four. A private external bathroom next to the bungalow completes your stay. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room plus a mini fridge and a couple of fans if needed. We have two mountain bikes and board games for the use of guests. During dry weather we prepare an open fire for you to relax under the stars. Guest access In addition to the farm bungalow premises, guest are free to access the entire farm area where we cultivate crops such as rice, mangoes, bananas, and sugar cane.
